patience is a virtue. i genrally dont pride myself on being a particularly virtuous person, but being patient has yet to let me down. i have had in my possession a 2001 santa cruz bullit for 6 days and have yet to get a good chance to ride it. until today.

man oh man, what a bike. i took it out for some solo urban. i rode all the normal spots that i ride on my sugar. im still in shock at how great this bike handles. it feels so solid. when i jump i feel like the bike launches me into the air. when i land its solid. i just stick to the ground. in one day my manuals have improved.

it wierd, really wierd, having a bike this nice. the fork is so solid. the rear suspension is full squish. the disk brakes are kind of scary. this is my first bike with disks. i forsee an accident involving too much brake but im working on it.

i dont have pics yet. i know i know, some people have been bugging me for porn. soon, i will have pics soon.

all in all im am super psyched about this bike. i cant wait to get out and ride some more. it is really unbelievably nice. i cant wait to race it.

Awesome, so you decided to go for the Bullit after all.

What fork is on it?

Remember: one finger on the discs. That should help the braking problem. First time I got discs, I grabbed a handful of what my brain told me were fairly weak V-brakes and what quickly followed was a spectacular attempt at imitating Superman...

Definitly get some pictures up! :D

Ooh.. You think that feels solid, wait until you slap a nice DC on there.. You won't believe the difference on your first DH trip from your previous ride. Night and day.

A Super T would be an excellent choice! A Boxxer would be a tad lighter but requires a little more maintinance.

That looks awesome. All you need now is a double crown :D

ViolentVolonte has an almost new 2004 Super T for sale in the B&S forum for $550...

I will defininetly be there this time. If we are lucky, then we will have a photographer and shuttle bunny (my wife may be coming along for the trip).

Any of you Arkie :monkey: know anything about the Buffalo River? If Jen comes along, we will bring our kayaks (touring/rec boats) to hit a river on the way home.
