ooh fancy looking

not star ratchet at all now. which is good if that crazy low angle actuation is what you want: the 54t star ratchet on my belt drive commuter skips now and then. (the 36t that was on my old 5010 did not.)

still star ratchet. its basically the same tech, they just increased the diameter to fit more teeth in. which prevents it from being backwards compatible with existing hubs.

The new hubs look like a nice step forward, even if not backwards compatible.

also, if its skipping it either needs cleaned and/or new springs.

it only skips on occasion under load while climbing. and it's a single speed (due to belt drive and all) so gets a fair bit of torque.

And makes it not break so easily at high teeth counts

Wait, what, bigger things can take more torque? No way.
Does it really have a MSRP of 500USD?
