The nice thing about lepers is you can dip your potato chips in their backs at parties. I dunno how it would taste w/ chocolate though.

Agreed but they were on sale an the office manager wanted some chocolate.

This brings up a point that I have discussed with my wife - when was the last time there was truly new candy?

Like the bars are always chocolate, caramel, nuts, nougat, etc....
Then there are the chewies - toffee, gummies, jelly beans.
Then the licorice & stuff like that.

But all the new candy in like the past 10 years has just been a recombination of those old ingredients found in candy that already exists! I mean, I think that Sour Patch Kids must have been so innovative that they rattled that whole industry! I don't think that there has been anything radically different introduced since then.

Where are all the creative candy thinkers? :confused:
What will be the next Sour Patch kids!?!?! :mumble:

Same with Mexican food.

Meat
Beans
Rice
Tortilla
Cheese
Guac
Add misc vegetables.

Other than that, restaurants butcher the basic designs to come up with a selling gimmick.

Pizza tostadas, etc.

I had a burrito in Germany, and instead of beans they filled it with corn. Spiced with tons of paprika. Germans are clueless.

Actually cost was an issue because I was buying it for the office as she has done in the past.
I got peanut butter cups for myself and since the swoops were on sale so I purchased them to try.
