Big congrats to our girl Heidi! Caught a glimpse of you from the lift when I was riding up for my race run. You looked really strong when I saw you go by, nice job!

Biggest news of the weekend was 49 year old Ned Overend racing in Pro Men's XC. After the first lap he was in 4th. He finished in 11th, spanking many many guys who are less than 1/2 his age.

.....on the other end of the scale, Tracy Hannah (Mick's lil sister) kicked everluvin arse in both the DH and MtX at the ripe old age of 16.

HA - yah, that was great to see her up on the podium!

As for me, a broken spoke ended my XC race after one lap but I came on strong in the short track on Sunday and finished 20th. THat was THE HARDEST short track course I'd ever ridden (lol - I've raced 2). It was brutal.
