Just a question to all you monkies in and around Durham/Raheigh NC. How is that mountain biking? Does it exist? I'm looking at moving from the San Fransisco Bay area, California to Durham. Most of the riding I'm used to is fairly heavily forested trail/freeriding (I have a Santa Cruz Heckler). What kind of stuff can I expect in NC? Also, for anyone with intimate knowledge of the immediate area, what kind of commute time are we talking to decent riding? Any thoughts would help.

i'm from durham and currently live only 40mins away. i grew up on those streets and in those woods, so whenever you come down and want to find all the secret hot spots of freeride, drop me a line and i'll be sure to head over and we could shred some trails/street if you'd like to, i love riding out there and it would be great to have an excuse.
