I was going to ask the same thing.
Wasn't there anywhere on dirt you could have shot?
there were actually only 2 pavement turns on the course. they were super fun though.

That was actually a good shooting section...right on the inside of a sweeper road corner linking two woods sections...you end up w/ so many shots of guys in the woods during the season that it's actually cool to see guys getting their cornering on on pavement. The next road corner (where I crashed) was one of my favorite sections of that course...g-out onto the road and then a 180 right switchback.

i shot the first street turn because i didnt know the second one would maybe let me get a good crash shot. but i figured that if u panned a rider at whistler, diablo, or germany all the pictures can look the same. how many races have street sections in them? besides i have the rest of the season to shoot dirt

the few shots I actually got...
since I was at the top during all of the beg, sport and younger expert riders, only got the guys who came after me (pros), and messed up at least half the shots trying to figure out exposures/etc for the various light conditions. sorry guys, these are all I got.

If you look closely at this shot you can see that my left crank arm is facing the same direction as the right (my leg is hanging)... very hard to ride with both cranks facing the same direction.the few shots I actually got...

That's why mine is raw, only had a 1 in 4 chance of grabbing the wrong bike that day!
