Why do the little dust caps on the bleeder valves of disc brake calipers always fall off? I own both Hayes and Hopes, and the little rubber caps never seem to stay in place for more than a couple rides. I know they're not crucial to the function of the brakes, but why can't somebody make a rubber cap that doesn't fall off whenever the bike hits a bump?:mumble:

actually they are pretty crucial to the brakes. You absolutly don't want any dirt particles to get into your brake lines when you bleed them. Try wrapping a small rubber band around them. Those little rubber bands used for braces work well.
