That is looking nice, hope it still has some of the Turner ride characteristics. Not sure how different the DW's feel than say a 2006 DHR....

Yeah thats what I thought. I have never ridden a DW bike so I may not like it at all. The M1, and older style DHR's felt real nice. Also the Orange Patriot LT....... will have to put around on a Sunday to see!

I just want one!! I think the DHR will look a lot better in the metal....

I like the more standard front triangle over the criss-cross of the 08 dhr, the shock area looks a bit crazy but, i'd probably drool over it seeing it up close, so much machined goodness.. It'd definitely want a little rear fender like a v-10.

Sick!

Over your shoulder whispering
Let's see. I loved every DHR I owned from 02-05, 4 frames of absolute bliss that got better and better! Then I had to switch to a Demo due to shop issues. Then I switched to a Sunday in 07 when moving to a different dealer. I haven't had an issue with a frame in years. But I loved every second I rode for Turner and the quality of the frames, the service and the people made me miss them when I went to the big S.

I loved the ride of my Sunday and the new school geometry. Now...I don't know what I gotta do to get that bike, but I'm going to do my dead level best. My favorite ride quality combined with my favorite people and craftsmanship...yeah, that's the exciting part. I could give a hoot less what it looks like. Go Dave I . Go Dave II.

The Butch rests!

Im over here now
im still not impressed by it. hopefully it lives up to the hype that everyone gives it.

on one hand i love my single pivot bikes..i mean why change a perfect design?
on the other hand, i love my vpp linkage bikes, from my original Outland to my current vpp's.
hopefully with turners' more better quality than IH's, it wont make the price go overboard.

That bike is enough to make me impotent. Hope Turner is reading this...and includes Viagra for it's traumatized customers.

Your face.
A couple of quick point.

First, the web designer sucks. I can't read any of the damn specs, and your flash menu is ****.

Second, post real photos of the frames, and leave the cartoons for saturday morning TV.

Third, Ridemonkey has become the bike world's equivalent of a group or warcraft nerds arguing if a level 6 ice spell can beat 4 goblin hell sword attacks, in between jerking off to anime porn and "talking" to your girlfriend that you met online that lives 3 states away.

If Dave and Dave worked on it, the bike ****ING WORKS. They are better at building bikes then any of you asshats, no matter what you think. If that wasn't true, then they'd be the ones arguing online about meaningless, trivial and completely speculative "facts" that at the end of the day don't tell you a ****ing thing about how the bike REALLY RIDES.

btw, those two photoshop overlays are garbage. So there.

Bah, let's see what you can do in 5 minutes with a cheesy CG frame. :D I should have flipped the detail I know, but whatever.

Your face.
At the very least, get the headtube at the right angle. The goddam rear axle isn't even on the hub, and the shock link hits the damn tire.

What kind of geek am I? I'm the guy that will wait until the damn thing is out and theres some real world feedback before I say a word. Everything else is purely speculative gibberish, especially considering you don't have ANY of the real measurements that you actually need. The frame is on an angle, so you can't map anything. And to further that, enough of you suck at the teat of Mr. Weagle (hi Dave!) so you should KNOW that dave's stuff is all about precise placement of pivots and thingies, so much so that you would need exact details about pivots and blah blah to map crap out.

the only, ONLY thing I could say here is that I'd be CURIOUS about the stiffness, since the links are so close together. BUT, I would assume that Dave and Dave would think about this, and the DHR wasnt' exactly noodly, so I wouldn't worry, I'd merely be curious how they avoided that issue.
