had a good hunt around on the net and cant find anywhere the outer diameter of the e-13 superchargers. There are no new stocks in the UK yet to measure, and i need to see if they will fit my MRP LRP (with a 36t ring).

so anyone know the OD of a 36t e-13 supercharger?
will it fit my 34t-38t MRP LRP arm and roller?

Cheers chaps,
Rich

Yep, it will. The tooth sizes are standardized (i.e. a 36t MRP is the same as a 36t E.13 is the same as a 36t Blackspire), so you'll be fine. Pick up a 36t E.13 supercharger and be happy! :thumb:

cheers bv, i know tooth sizes are always the same obviously.

thing is i know that E-13 superchargers are bigger than the sizes they are suggested for so a 36t supercharger is bigger than a 36t ring, unlike my mrp (34-38t) which when used with a 38t ring the chain is flush with the top of the plate.

the problem is that the 34-38t plate i have forces the roller to run at max distance from the bb (in its adjustment slot), so i need to know if the supercharger (for 36t) is bigger than the MRP i have.

you see, i have heard of peole using 32t superchargers with an LRP arm (as it still has adjustment at this size) but i dont know if it will work at this larger size.

Think thats a bit clearer now.

Gotcha!

Well, the first suggestion I have for any E.13 question is to email or call Evil/E.13 - they're very nice guys and always helpful.

That said, I'll measure my 36t bashguard when I get home from work this evening if you don't have an answer by then. I'm 99% sure it'll work (my buddy has an LRP and I'm pretty sure the bashguard is small enough), but I'll let you know how big the supercharger is.

ah-ha! just got a reply from e-13, its 170mm diameter. Thats a couple more than what the MRP is but ive just washed the bike and on closer inspection i reckon i could 'extend' the adjustment slot a few mm without affecting the performance.

Just got to decide on black or clear now!

cheers for your help bv, if you do measure yours id be interested to see if its any different to what e-13 said, Thanks. Also a pic if you have one, not seen any of one on a bike.

Here is a pic of the current one, you can see the roller is forced into contact with the plate, but all should be well once i get this new plate and fit these diabolous cranks that ive had on my desk for a month. mmmmm diabolous... drool

Just measured it and 170 is pretty dead on, give or take a mm. I measured 6 5/8" which equates to 168.3mm, but I don't have any calipers or anything so I just eyeballed a ruler.
