E-13 SRS Question

I am installing an E-13 SRS on my V10 and am having a clearance issue between the backplate assembly and the crank arm. it seems as though the mounting tabs/holes for the inner/granny ring on the cranks are making contact with the backplate and jamming it up. Is this a common problem with using cranks that are designed for 3 rings? The only real solution I see is to have the inner/granny ring mounting tabs milled down to allow clearance. Anyone else have/heard about this issue? Any fies out there?

Thanks

John

Rockin Johny! :)

I'm not sure how in depth you read the instructions that came with your SRS (if it's new). I'd recommend going through them again if you have them, if not you can get them from www.e13components.com They go into detail about this very issue. I'm not sure what model year your V10 is either. But, there are also V10 specific instructions on the e13 website.

V10 instructions:
http://www.e13components.com/docs/2004 v10 specific e13 SRS instructions.pdf

Standard Instructions:

My own world inside my head
E13 Srs is designed for singlering Cranks.... Yes youll have to remove the inner ring mounts to make it fit
....If you dont want to do that you may want to look at the Blackspire set
