Typically the pull is in the shifter, for decades you could use whatever speed shifter with any (SRAM on SRAM or Shimano on Shimano) derailleur...but occasionally companies change the ratio of the derailleur, changing that equation.
This is what I am enquiring about.

According to this, both should be 1.12 pull ratio.
