that's an awesome trailer, and a great interface, too. someone put in some work on each :thumb: . i don't like the sped up footage tho :( but apparently me and acadian are the only ones who feel this way. and don't tell me "no, pros really are THAT fast" as a few of the clips were clearly, er, overclocked.

Ok...now who in the heck was throwing the frickin' pancake whip in front of the TISSOT banner about 3/4 through that thing. I think he comes from a Moto background....SICK! THAT should be a poster!!!

Shieet son you should have come down to S.D this Saturday. Mr Strait was busting out his "hucktastic stylie" with us at the local gaps. Sheesh, I can't believe I had him follow me on one of the lines, I was looking back the whole time!!

Maybe it's me, but I really didn't ID anything too obviously sped up. I watched it several times and all the physics are there and nothing that's jerky and out of sync. But again, maybe it's me.

Edit: oh, btw, GOD DAMN that teaser looked good!

When I first watched Earthed I thought there was some sped up footage, but when I watched it real close I couldn't find any confirmation. Then I watched it with Chris VanDine and he said those guys just pretty much go that fast. I don't know.

I haven't watched Earthed for a few months. I'll throw it on tonight and take a fresh look.

Watch the atherton bros section. Looks a little funny to me. Jerseys flap quickly when you're going fast on open/fast sections, not right angle turns though really tight trees. Makes more sense to me that those types of parts would be sped up because it just looks uh.....less exciting.

Acadian was the one who broke it to me. the best example of a sped up segment I was able to spot was in open, grassy ski slope segments. There is one shot of Nathan Rankin turning to his right on a grassy turn. The banner tape in the background is virtually a blur. The Atherton segment is a good example...not the whole thing mind you, just when they are riding in the loam across the ridge freight training, etc. (again, the crazy skittish flapping of their jerseys gives it away). That is what gave it away for me. There is another segment, I think at Mt. Ste. Anne, where you see a guy behind the banners move so fast you think he's NINJA!

Oddly, enough I went home at lunch today and was watching it again for motivation to hit the stationery trainer tonight!
