Or you could then apply for a license and, if approved, receive a prescription for anti-birth control that you'd have to take for 90 days before you could conceive...... then only those that should be having kids would be having kids

Putting birth control in the water supply would be quite possibly the worst environmental disaster the world has ever seen. The hormons that go down the drain/toilet back into the real world would affect animals just as they do humans. In fact, many species of fish would actually "become" all female, and eventually die off. Deer drink the water, otters, coyotes...nothing would breed.

Terrible idea.

whoa! A serious response from BS? When did you become so liberal?
Im a fisheries biology major. There are cases of this happening now just because of regular birth control pills that sluts take. In and around the DC area (Potomac river I think) fishes have been gender-bending quite a bit. Scary stuff.

Im surprise all the creatine people eat hasnt made the fish into killers

Potomac and James river have been having the gender bending problems and there are signs it is affecting the Chesapeak Bay, a major fishery. They have also been seeinf fish with these wierd oozing sores that no one can yet explain.

Once valtrex gets a little more popular, those should go away...

EDIT: Although it may still be possible to transmit the sores even if the fish dont have an outbreak.

BS did point out some of flaws, but your idea does have some potential. Eliminating a certain demographics' ability to reproduce is most certainly the way to go. I'd have to suggest putting a birth control additive into cheap beers such as high life, natty light, the beast, etc.

Actually now that I think about it, birth control in almost ALL forms of alcohol (except maybe wine) would be a pretty damn good idea.

Personally I think if genetically engineered the "Rice Weevil" it'd be more effective for the entire planet.
