I've been looking for a trail bike for over a month now and was torn between getting something used, or getting cheap. I didn't want to spend more than $1000 and finding a bike I would be happy with for that price was a chore.

Then today I noticed some new 2005 GT Ruckus hardtails selling for cheap. I did a quick search and found a "new condition" 2003 Ruckus I-Drive 2.0 and got it for $600! Novice listers rule!

I like everything but the brakes and I will change those soon enough. I'm ditching the kick stand and cutting the seat post, but I couldn't argue for $600 with a Fox Forx 125.

Cool man, awesome! We have one of those in our shop for $1250
Have you ridden it? I rode a friends I-Drive (the older XC ikes) way back in 2001 I think. I recall it being sweet, but it's been a while. I know when these first came out they were around $2000.

I can't wait to ride it. I know it's a little heavier than what I was looking for, but at least I won't worry about breakage from what I can tell.

I've ridden it around the shop and stuff........ never really ridden it for real. I just got a GT DHi, and the I-Drive is really amazing, I can only say good things about my new bike...........except the seatpost/seat!

Im gunna go out on a limb here and say that the kick stand is proof alone that that bike has never been ridden hard. Great deal. I have an i-drive at my mom's place in CO. I like it alot.

I've decided I might rock the kickstand if I can get a full set of reflectors to go with the whole look. You never know, the kickstand could be handy when you have to pee while on the trail. But I would need to use some velcro as a "kickstand retention device" when I'm hucking curbs.

I have to lean my motorcycle on something when on the trail because it lacks a kickstand.

What ever happend to those cool triangluar corner bages that doubled as a shoulder pad? A frame mounted pump and water bottle cage to complete the set?

No wait, BAR ENDS! I knew it was missing something!

Shoot S.S. a PM. I think he has a pair of purple anodized bar ends that you could probably score for cheap. ;) :dead:
