I have a question about selling on Ebay for you Monkey's. I am just getting into to selling on Ebay and I want to know how you put pictures in your description so they show up as pictures instead of links. I am trying to avoid using the feature that costs money. Any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

First, you need a place to host your pictures online.

Then, you put this in the description

<img src="YOUR PICTURE URL HERE">

Did any red X's come up? Are you sure the URL is correct? Paste the img tag here.

No, no red X's came up. It just showed the img tag wrapped around it. I did it exactly how you said to do it. I did <img src= link >.Post me up an example so I can see what exactly I have to do. It has to be directly in the description right?

Gosh, this is driving me nuts. That didnt work either. I get the concept of what to do. Am I supposed to put this in the description or on the next page when it asks me about Picture services. Maybe it wont let me do it because I am just revising it or something. I am using www.imageshack.us and I am using the direct link which always works for this site. I am still doing something wrong? Please help me.

You should be able to put it in the description. Perhaps imageshack has something blocking eBay ?

Try putting a random image on there, like:

Code:
<img src="http://www.harunyahya.com/kids/pictures/wallpaper1024/frog.jpg">
...see if that image shows up when you preview the description. If that works, then it's something screwy with Imageshack, try Photobucket.

That one didnt work either. I got an account with Photobucket and I found a way to get one photo up but it wont allow you to add multiple links. So I still want to find out how to get it in the description. This is really starting to get to me. Binary, you have been really helpful, now only if we can just make this work.

Copy this into the description EXACTLY as you see it and a magical picture should appear, looking like this:

It has never worked. I even have a photobucket account and it gives you the tags. I am supposed to enter this directly into the description right? It doesnt have anything to do with the picture services correct?

Well, I honestly have no idea why it's not working, but if I remember correctly, there was a place to paste image URLs in the image upload section somewhere.

At photobucket, if you click multiple links above where you browse for the pictures on your computer, you can upload I think about 19. But with that you have to browse each time for a picture.

You can download an uploader for photobucket. With this, you can paste in a bunch of files at once. I can give you the link for the uploader if you want. It is really fast now.

Yea, I have a Photobucket account. But getting the pictures to show up on eBay is my problem. There is a place to do that but it cost .15 cents for each additional picture. I thought you were able to post them directly in the description with the image tags. But I guess not.
