between the two for comparison, how many people have they nominated or appointed who were not properly vetted, or stepped down due to their "issues"? i find it odd you would disregard this.I think has also been a consistent and steady hand in leading the government so far, which is another good sign. Compare it to Michael Steele or David Patterson for how not to do it.
with less right-wing extremism - and its implied accountability - do you really think programming will shift away from pure crap to the high-minded? if his social policies end up taking away emphasis on traditional marriage (and i certainly don't see him re-enforcing the institution), what do you think will happen to the proportion of single mothers? and then, how will this affect our overall education levels? i believe it will result in a widening continuum. It will be a subtle culture change. I use TV as my societal compass, and I see some really crappy shows on now, like the entire VH1 showcase.
I am hoping we see smarter programming in the future, and a different attitude around America.
forget for a moment this opinion is coming from me, and investigate if this is a reasonable expectation. also, if i've disregarded or completely missed anything, point it out
