Earlier this week, Southern California media reported that a Long Beach police officer was shot by a suspect on Saturday evening.

Turns out, the bullet came from his own partner’s weapon.

To make this incident of cop-on-cop violence even more outrageous, the suspect was charged with a felony complaint that specifically states that he personally and intentionally discharged a firearm, which caused “great bodily injury” to the officer.

According to reports, three Long Beach officers arrived at an apartment complex Saturday evening for a report of a disturbance.

Police claim the suspect, 31-year-old Eric Arroyo, began shooting at the yet-to-be named officers as soon as they arrived and that one officer was hit, prompting his partner to return fire.

Despite being wounded, police claim Arroyo attempted to flee the scene and resist arrest, prompting them to use a “taser-like device” on him.

On Thursday, police admitted their error and announced that the officer had been shot by his partner during what was described by a witness as a “hail of gunfire,” to CBS Los Angeles.

In light of the new information, the entire narrative by the police must be called into question. This is, after all, an agency that has dished out millions over the years in settlements, averaging more than $3 million a year, according to the Orange County Register.

cop shoot his wife in the head with a rifle. cop admits he killed his wife. cop is released on bond. cop can only serve 5 years if convicted for "involuntary manslaughter."

North Augusta, SC — At around 7:30 p.m. last Saturday evening, Aiken County Sheriff’s Deputy and former Marine, Matthew Blakley shot and killed his 24-year-old wife, Candace in their North Augusta home. Blakley admitted to having done it, but claimed it was an accident.

Sunday afternoon—less than a day after the killing—Blakley was released on bond. The day after that, less than two days after admittedly shooting his wife to death, authorities declared that the deputy will NOT be charged with first or second-degree murder, but “involuntary manslaughter.” Even if convicted, Deputy Blakley may not receive any prison time at all, and cannot be sentenced to more than five years. Under South Carolina state law, the distinction between murder and manslaughter hinges upon whether there was “malice aforethought” which constitutes murder, as opposed to criminal negligence, which constitutes manslaughter.

The following facts are undisputed:

  1. When Blakley exited his house, blood on his hands, he admitted to shooting his wife.
  2. The coroner ruled that she died from a bullet wound to the head.
  3. She was found dead in her bathtub.
  4. Also found in the bathroom, on the floor, were a broken wedding ring, an M4 rifle, and a spent shell casing.
  5. A second man, who has not been publicly named, was also on the scene, also had blood on his hands, and claimed to have attempted CPR on the victim without success.
In less than two days, the decision was made not to charge the confessed killer with murder.

the Abq making headlines again...
Albuquerque police officer Dominique Perez and former officer Keith Sandy are no longer facing first-degree murder charges for fatally shooting a homeless man for “illegal camping.”

The charges were reduced from first-degree murder despite Sandy being caught on dashcam stating that he intended to shoot James Boyd in the penis just hours before actually shooting the 38-year-old man in his lower back as he turned around.

A special prosecutor, Randi Mcginn, has been brought into the case, announcing on Monday that her office will only pursue second-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter and aggravated assault charges.

a 30day sentence (cut down from 3 year plea deal by the twat judge) for this scumbag

GRAND ISLE, Vt. — A Vermont sheriff’s deputy convicted for possessing child pornography has received a sentence so lenient it’s causing outrage in the community.

Former Grand Isle Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Moen was arrested in January of 2015 and given a paltry 30-day sentence for multiple counts of possession of child pornography. Prosecutors said Moen used file sharing networks to obtain and share sexually explicit images of young children on the Internet.

The Vermont Attorney General’s Office offered an extremely light plea deal to Moen, who agreed to plea guilty to three felony charges in exchange for 3-year sentence — but Judge Alison Arms suspended all but 30 days of the prison term.

your rescues get a clean bill of health?
So far but they hated the ride to and from (need the blood tests results). One is on it's fourth home (cut the steel band off on her) and the other on it's third (including the rescue for each).
