They have been protesting tuition increases (which are still dirt cheap relatively speaking), for a few months now. Looks like the semester is scrapped.

Anyway....lots of protests. And this youtube video surfaced today.

Heh...I like John Moore. He's actually quite funny. He was a stand-up/improv performer in Montreal. He moved over to radio.

We're a bunch of communists.

But the whole situation is a mess. (obviously). But they killed their semester. There are people that could have/should have graduated this spring and couldn't. And not everyone was on board.

And there actually have been some terrotist acts. Vandalism in the metro (subway). Smoke bombs in the tunnels, bags of rocks thrown on the tracks.......it ****s up the entire city. It makes it difficult to garner sympathy.
