Beer 30 has arrived. We had a wind shift today, it is blowing the SCU Complex fire and smoke our way. Yesterday you could see 10 miles with a light haze. Today maybe a mile of visibility and if I took off my respirator I could taste the smoke in the air.

Only way I can see going on a road ride (dirt is closed due to the fire) tomorrow is to wear my full respirator to protect my lungs. The AQI here is above 300 ...yuck

Eff you guys. I am having flashbacks to growing up in the 60s in Los Angeles with the daily Smog Alerts. Its 95, humid, and you can see just over 1 mile through the smoke. That helibase is about 5 miles due east of me

I have no idea where I am
Got done washing the car just in time for a thunderstorm. At least I got all the bugs and grime off it. Gotta keep my Toaster with 192K miles looking good.

edit: 2k less miles than I thought.

Good thing you caught that. If the Ridemonkey auditors found it you would have gotten pinged with a stiff fine.
