Ooooh, Fantasy Politics...

My Draft Order:
McCain
Clinton
Gore
Edwards... hey, lots of upside potential!
Powell... I know he's a dark horse, but if he's taken off the PUP list, he moves way up my list.

In order of preference

Dems:
Bill Richardson
Mark Warner
John Edwards
Wes Clark

Repubs:
Pataki
ummmm....

Not going to happen:
Guliani - too liberal, will never be able to win the Conservatives with pro-choice and pro-gay record.
McCain - too old, and has lost his independent streak that drove people to him in '00.
Condi - sorry, ain't gonna happen
Clinton (hillary) - too much baggage. very high disapproval numbers.
Gore - had his chance, america is quite a bit different since Nixon pulled it off in 68.
Kerry - see Gore. Had his chance. No 3 strikes rule in politics, one and you're done.
Any member of Congress - way way WAY too much baggage. There's a reason we haven't elected a sitting member of Congress to the presidency since.... JFK?

WTF is it that people like about Wesley Clark? I cant figure it out? He is as stupid in front of a microphone as GWB and has no real political experience other than as a general.

you notice that he's 4th out of 4 in my list of preferences, right? I'm not crazy about him, but I'd take a real general instead of the guys that play one in our current administration...

I dont like any of them. I just want a guy who will make sound decisions, but not try to "fix" everything. Im pretty happy with where this country is on most social things. Gay Marriage, Abortion, etc... where at something of a middle ground right now, just leave it alone.
Finish up the stupid war, then station the troops by the border, and make the immigrants register, but dont stop them.
Oh, and if a terrorist attack happens, bomb the living sh!t out of THOSE RESPONSIBLE and be on our way!

And as for oil, well, the whole world is looking for that answer. I dont necessarily expect it from our govt.
