Washington State has a nice tracking system. My ballot was received and verified within two days. Some friends had theirs rejected for changes in their signature, they were able to have resolved.

So trump is both a scumbag and a republican. Trashing him for being a scumbag can get conflated with trashing him for being a republican. The people doing the trash talk probably have both an anti scumbag and anti republican agenda, so the issue separation isn’t clear.

I think @jonKranked and I have both opined on this, or something pretty similar.
To be honest, it's not that easy right now to not conflate being a scumbag and being a Republican, or at least the type of Republican that they've been becoming for the last 20-30 years. And with Trump at their helm, it seems many of the actual Republican politicians (and their constituency) have really let their scumbag flag fly high and proud, or at the very least via silence/complicity.
As @stoney has said, they all think we're atheist baby-killing gun-takers. So you know... we're scum.

Uhhh... JKs post indicated the gap was 113k and now it's ~108k per the link you just sent... so Trump is still losing ground. Trump has been leading in PA for a while, but losing ground steadily. I think this is more of that?

Without the Trump context a fella would have just assumed they were seeing someone have a schizophrenic break. The only ones I caught for sure were "stop the count trump won" and "biden sniffs kids". There was also III% sticker and a Q sticker. Lots of other writings but that was all I could make out as he went by. I suspect this guy is an outlier only so much as he's the first one I've seen.

Because of where I live, a lot of my neighbors and friends tend to lean conservative, or have past military careers. Many a "spirited" debate has taken place either at my dining room table or in my kitchen regarding politics. All these people remain friends. I appreciate an opposing view, and no matter if they are wrong, and they are,
they have proven over time to be good and true people who look beyond our difference and equally value us as people and friends too.No Trump supporter will ever step foot in my house. No more than anyone wearing a swastika armband or wearing a klan hood would cross my threshold. The differences I have with the people mentioned above are, as P.J. Don't feel bad about cutting those people from your life. Feel good about it. Ask yourself, how welcome is Nazi wheel chair guy in your house?
