I for one recognize that democracy demands compromise and will generally be satisfied when things are simply moving towards the right direction.
Things were moving so far in the wrong direction over the last 4 years that Biden is an acceptable result, especially considering the alternative.

There are pros and cons of a new administration prosecuting him. In part it breaks tradition and will enable future Republicans to persue fake charges, as they will certainly be screaming "fake news, deep state conspiracy". However NYS should take down the Trump org like a condemned building.
