fixing an outlet, pulled the cover and the socket, turns out some wires were fried. need to cut the bad segments out. loosened the clamp that holds the wires coming into the box, but can't pull enough through. box probably needs to be replaced too. its screwed into a stud on the left, no exposed screws to get it out, should i just hacksaw the tabs? what's the best solution here?

The box can be cut out with a Sawzall. However your problems could get worse..... Is that aluminum wire?
