Hey Guys,

I have been working on bleeding a pair of Elixer 5 for a week. I bleed them and get full pressure ride for a 5-10mintues and lose resistance in the brakes but there is no visual leaks and there is no air in the lines. I have followed 4-5 different bleed procedures and all have the same effect. I have bled brakes before but never having this issue. Any ideas? I am at a complete loss with this one.

Had a similar problem. LBS warrantied some new levers for me, fixed the problem.

I tore the master cylinder apart when that happened to me, and found out the toric joint on the plunger which closes the circuit and actually pushes the brake fluid to the calliper was busted. Replaced it and bingo! My front brake was working as expected again.
