Assuming this will be an advertisement at some point. Because why wouldn’t he.
…and the steel-sided vehicle absorbed much of the force, officials said Thursday.
Yeah, interesting choice of vehicle, why not use a Model X with a lot of glass shards?

Indeed. I thought our existential angst/resentment etc was exaggerated when we were young, (looking back now) but man, these kids are hitting a spinning blade of global awful.

I actually can understand the tendency towards nihilism now.

I'm mostly of the opinion that it's already too late. The kids are screwed, and most of us (obviously not @SkaredShtles ) are young enough that were probably going to eat shit too. Some times I contemplate pulling all the money out of the 401k and just living large, because most of us probably aren't going to die of old age.

Have discussed this with my wife too.

OTOH, it’s going to be even more painfully, horrendously difficult to stay above the poverty line, and that truly will mean the difference between a brutal life and a hard life going forward. I would love for my kid to ‘make it’ (be secure, have some kind of health care, housing, etc).
I honestly believe that without our financial help after we die, he could be in a world of misery.
(it’s not much, but it could be the difference).
I just don’t know.
Maybe the whole world will die of microplastic cancer and nuclear radiation.

The wife and I wa between:

1. we should stop doing the BS we’re doing and try to do something that matters
2. we should stop doing this BS and live out our days a little further from this shit show. part of her current Japan trip is to scout real estate in the Alps.
3. Eh, fuckit. Let’s go rummage through the wine cellar tonight and carry on again tomorrow.

EDIT: fucking homophones. :homer:
