Cool vid. If it convinces 18-21 year olds to finally get off their asses and vote then Eminem just did more community service than a judge could ever demand.
Whether or not you think musicians opinions are valid, they are in a position to have them heard. I think it's commendable to make the effort for something you believe in. 100x more substance than anything else you'll hear on mainstream radio.

The simple fact is most highly mainstream music, whether it be pop, rap, psuedo-punk, rock, emo, whatever, is barely music already. Just because white guys playing three chords and singing songs sounds more melodious to you than black guys speaking rythmically over a beat doesnt make it any more legitimate. Until you know something about a genre you didnt learn on MTV, BET, or VH1, please dont comment on it. But Hulk is not here to berate, hulk is here to educate, so check out Micheal Franti and Spearhead, Black Eyed Peas, Blackalicious, and Blackstar if you wanna hear what rap can be.

The one I found most profound is that the majority of under 20 voters polled were forming their opinion based on the likes of opinions of Bruce Sprinsteen and Dave Matthews.

i like the message of the video, and song since he could very well easily sing about his Rolex, Mercedes, and bitches. Like what tons of other rappers do.
