not that I'm voting for him, but he does seem to be the only mainstream candidate that speaks of what we all complain about (devaluing dollar, corrupt government and banking systems, war mongering presidents and congressman, reinstating industry in this country before it falls to sh!t, etc.)

I’m just wondering, why the enormous disconnect with this candidate?

If all the obama heads are really calling for significant change, why are they overlooking this guy?

...other than the fact that he would most likely die of a CIA heart attack if elected…

What he's saying is that there is such a fundamental problem with American politics, social discourse, expectations, education, media and above all common sense, that a candidate who seeks to address issues that appeal directly to most people stands no chance and you'd have to be crazy to think such an apparently logical thing could happen.
