Damn I pissed that I missed it and couldn't defend last years victory. Last years race rocked, wet and fast. That top single track section is fast. It looked like you guys had some good conditions to race in. The last couple of vid. clips didn't work for me though.

Looks like some fun stuff! I wish I could've made it down there, but unfortuantely my parents didnt wanna drive that far. :think:. Do you think it was more technical than AngelFire was? I'd like to make it down there sometime just for the riding anyways. Cool pics!!! :D

it was more tech b/c of how super steep it was.

lance and i ran single speed set up. a few sprints out of switchback and off the gate. the rest of the speed was late braking! 6 min super steep track.

whats your name? was wadel there last year? they have a sunrace rider on there flyers?

the bottom was different this year they said. i doad last years bottom and liked it better.

these guys make there trails, and a lot of them! TON'sO work.

Chris Rose from Durango won the Downhill Frenzy Race and took home $200 in cash. Myles Rockwell took second and some sweet prizes. 3rd went to Chris O.D. 4th was cain and i was 5th.

Did they have a junior category at all? If I remember Seth races JrX right? lol, I would have raced Junior Sport if I did go down....

yeah, he does but this was fastest time wins the 200, then 2nd to 5th gets the pick from the table of goods. in order of time. then the two ladys get pics from the table then 6th to last . every one got something!

That's awesome, too bad I coudlnt go even though I suck at racing, haha. Were there any known pros there? Also, how many people raced overall?

Last year there was only one open class for all the men. The pic of the rider on the flyer wasn't taken from last years race. My name is Chris Quintero. Waddel wasn't there last year.

man that place is so cool...the mountains around there are epic! i'm in hella norcal, but heading to crankworx, then idaho, snowmass, durango and so on. is anyone planning any riding there before durango? that could be sick!

there were like 20 or so riders.

yeah they are trying to get it where you don't have to have a guide and lower the tickets from $100 to $25! they can't get some federation to deam it avalanche safe.
