The politics injected into Episode III were as hammy and overdone as any of the rest of the wretched dialouge. Too bad that took away from the more subtle and meaningful allegory that could have been implemented. That's all I have to say about that...
(I actually ran a search trying to find that "Star Wars" parody which compares the US to the Empire and Islamists to the rebels, but found nada.)
