I honestly have no opinion on this since I really don't know much about trade and whatnot, just thought it interesting. Anybody care to enlighten me as to the implications?

When our legislators cave to domestic protectionist(anti-free-market) pressures and establish trade tariffs, it makes it difficult to cry foul(sorry for the pun) with a straight face.
