Has anyone here been in La Palma? My aunt has bought a hotel there and I've heard there are some mint trails there. It's warm all year so I'd be a moron not to visit my family.

No input on La Palma, but that article has been updated. Not sabotage, apparently that is a farmer's water pipe across an unsanctioned trail. Shitty for Noga regardless, but still.

Get on Strava, follow a few of the locals, see what they do, download the GPX files and copy what they are doing.
Wikiloc is a really nice source for routes too.

People in La Palma are very friendly and trails are not a secret at all, you can ask anyone and they'll tell you where are the best trails. In Saturday and Sunday mornings you can join a group ride and just go with them...
