I see the list of German iXS races isnt complete and theres a couple realy good ones missing.
Rittershausen and Illmenau, imo two of the better tracks in Germany that can only be ridding during the races.
Hopefully this year Todtnau get a race again too, that track is just a classic.
Will you be racing some of these Damo?

Oh and whatever you do, never ever race in Belgium...

We'll be over in Europe then! So far we're doing Megavelanche, but the Euro champs and the Italian champs sound great. What about the club or more localised races in July?

The tracks arent even that bad but I wouldnt call it Downhill tracks.
The orginisation is messed up, shuttles are bad and the guy who drives the shuttle truck is allways drunk and high and drives like a madman.
Then theres no line for the shuttle and the guy usually just picks up whoever he knows best letting the rest of the crowd wait for a new shuttle, even if they were there first.
Theyre timing system is made up out of a stopwatch and a cellphone and at the bottom the just type your result in the computer.
Ive been beaten on a 2minute track by 20seconds by a friend who is usually slower then me, on a crash free run.

Todtnau is an awesome track. I haven't been there for a few years now, but I remember Felix running a good show with a rickety 1-man chairlift.

Cheers BlackElvis that would be great if you could... We'll be planning a roadtrip your way again this year. Last year's race at Gracisce was cool.

Felix isnt working there anymore, lots of trouble with the Chairlift owner and people staying away due to the high prizes the new chairlift induced.

But prizes have went down again and the track has been improved a lot.
One of the fastest and most dangerous tracks in Germay for sure.
    I love it.

check mtb.si from time to time. This will the 1st place where its going to be published.

Also, in Slovenian DH there are or will be some new regulations for racing.

Men elite can race without pads for elbows and gloves, start-up fee is raised from 20 to 25 €, awards for top 5 are 250/150/100/50/25 €, first 30 men get another hour of nostopping training run after official training etc

As in the one in Cleveland/North Yorkshire?

If so that's pretty shockingly bad!:disgust1:

I mean it's not bad to spend an hour or so there playing about with your mates but a NPS level track, no way. It's go no lifts and no way to do lifts either!

What lifts have to do with the level of track? I've been in some places where the transport was prehistoric yet the trails were very technical and high level.

Todtnau=Every good track you have ever ridden all rolled into one. It has everything.

Getting some good dates here guys, but I notice a few websites cannot agree on some dates (ie IXS Swiss Cups...)

I have changed the first post as I find more possible races. Bear in mind, these are races for me to look at, not a complete list of european races...

The dates are being confirmed right now and some things were changed at the last second for the IXS races. Chatel, France will have an IXS race as well but it just got confirmed.
    Do you homebase in Morzine?

Wow, i didn't know Todtnau was that good a track, i'll have to check it out asap. I'll be in Freiburg at the beginning of march and if there's no more snow i'll give it a shot; otherwise a Euro Monkey Fest in Todtnau sounds awesome!

Argh, but can you access the track without using the chairlift and paying? I would just be shuttling with a buddy...

It can be done but shutteling is hard cause the way up is a really long detour.
Youd be better of doing sections in stead of whole runs probably
Its really steep and the track is pretty long but I guess it would be worth it.

    Updated list:

Please feel free to add or fix.

By the way: Don't do Todtnau as a euromonkey get-together. As good a track as it is, it is still one track.
Come to Morzine. We have 27 chairlifts open with one liftpass. I can act as the (un)official RM DH guide.

Damo I'll probably be in Morzine in April. But that's probably not the best time for all the monkeys for a get together. Anyway it would be nice if at least some ppl were there to laugh at my lame riding ;)

If you are coming in April, you better bring skis/snowboard as we are still in deep snow.

Lifts open for summer mid June to late September.
