I now could care less about bicycle pictures. More boobie painting please.
Go rent some porn then. This is a bike website, and I am grateful that I am not lambasted with that crass nudity that is all-too-commonly linked to mountain biking (and freeride/DH/SS especially). I am ashamed every time I have to visit the Marzocchi website in public. It is no coincidence that I stopped riding their suspension.

Your face.
Lemme get this straight.

You stopped riding products for a company based on the fact that they use tarts as promotion tools? So it had nothing to do with the products at all? Is that how you base all your buying decisions?

That is the most uptight, ludicrous thing I have heard in months.

Well, let me be most honest. I am repulsed every time I go to Marzocchi's website. So logically, the less I expose myself to their advertising, the less I want their product. So it only follows that I find myself riding a different suspension product.
Now, to expand on that. I didn't just say to myself "anything but Marzocchi," but rather "wow, the Fox 40 is stiff, light and adjustable. I can't imagine a better fork, and for $700 for a like-new 2008, how could I say no? When faced with what rear shock, I wanted to try the Roco, but it seemed that many had problems, so I went with the CCDB instead. So my suspension designs aren't random and based solely on advertising that works opposite to the way it was intended, but I am sure that their choice of images has definitely swayed my opinion. If their products were better, I still might consider them, but they're not. They're heavy, seem to have more problems as of late, and I honestly don't want to support a company like that. It's the same reason that I don't find myself owning any of the NWD videos - it's just a different side of biking that doesn't appeal to me. It's not all of my decision-making process - in fact it's a rather small part - but it isn't helping their popularity with me at all. I do recognize that it IS helping their popularity with many other bikers who do appreciate porn with their bike parts, and they're just catering to a particular niche in the biking market.
But this is about biking, not about me. Nonetheless, I hope I have more fully explained myself while still keeping this as the most ludicrous thing you've heard in months. Hooray for internet entertainment!
