This van not being brought to north america really shows MB's arrogance. These vans have been in europe for a while now, and over there mercedeses are not strictly a luxury brand. Its dumb that they had to brand their Semi Cab, and Sprintervans as Freightliners over here so that they dont hurt their image. Who knows maybe MB will bring this van here and brand it as a freightliner

I bet the wind resistance is a real bitch with that thing up. Probably unstable at about 80mph ;)

All the cool stuff stays over there. If I didn't live in Texas and still lived downtown chicago I'd have a smart car - those rock.

i m sure it prolly only costs about 80 - 100K as well... i couldn t see MB selling many of them in the states....

europe is overrated people... try paying 500 euro a month (about 620 US) for your utilities (water, gas, elec NOT inc phone)... not to mention that about 50% of the men carry handbags ;)... it s ok over here but i d take the US or australia ANY DAY....

it is nice to have morzine / les gets a 6 hour drive away...

seriously, the only thing i ll miss about europe is hittin 120 mph on the autobahn... that the fact that it s relatively safe... no wanna be gangsters, low crime and idiots with handguns...

If you're refering to my post. That Westy redesign will run around $40k. I'd buy one.

MB... mercedes benz.... i was referring to the MB camper at the top of this thread... sure, lots of us would spend 40K on a car... but how many would drop DOUBLE that on a weekend camper.......

The autobahn sure doesn't take much gettin' used to. I shudder to think how many speeding tickets you're gonna get when ya get back to America. ;) Yeah , ya definitely got a nice set of wheels there mate. Now if you only had the satellite navigation you'd be laughin'. ;) :D
