He's out of they olympics after sustaining a knee injury in a post tour party. I'm guessing he was kicking his teammates too hard.

1) Guy touched his injured shoulder. I would have done the same.
2) Evans was being pushed by a team worker. A d-bag of a cameraman was standing in his way. Perhaps he should have stepped aside.
3) Piss poor language, but understandable given the nature of the event.

People make too big a deal out of an athlete simply being human.

as an athlete at that level, in the public eye, i think he's expected to carry himself in such a way as to not act like a little bitch.

:stupid:

He's in the spotlight and needs to be mindful of that fact.....if you don't want the press, and fame, become a cube rat like me :)

Evans proved to have the emotional maturity of a 12 year old. Lashed out at the press once he got the yellow jersey and blamed his team when he lost it. Clutched stuffed lion like a security blanket when in yellow and traded it out for a stuffed kangaroo once it was gone. His job is to look good to the public not to win races. That was the hard lesson learned by discovery after losing a sponsor even after winning the biggest race of the year.

No way, his teammates didn't make it to the end of the party, they were there for the snacks, but were done by about 9pm. He injured himself some hours later, trying to finish the party with no one else around except 4 CSC riders...

Exactly. Fans like grace under pressure, not behavior you want your 7 year old watching...

Naah, Cadel just looks like a bitch.

Plus testoerone is support make you act hyperaggressively, not hyper bitchy.

Different strokes. I like to see athletes and celebrities act human, real, not like some unquotable robot devoid of all emotion.

As a fan, I appreciate watching a humble winner and a gracious loser, preferably with decent language.

I think he should act professional, but I'll admit I like watching, and reading about, drama :) Mcewen is leaving....I wonder if it was Silence's failure to support him at the Tour (and the fact that they still lost the Tour)?
