Hey guys,

I was lookin for a bike that could handle 4x and DS with a mix of dirt jumping etc... in it. I'd be fond of a Intense Tazer but I don't want to pay that much for a frame when I can damm near build an entire bike for what the frames go for used. Plus I have some of the components already (fork/headset/seat/wheels/pedals etc....) so you get the picture.

I was just curious though if the DOC's can be setup for this kind of riding. I know in some posts I've seen the Evil doing DS and 4x racing but the geometry is a little different. I'd be running a Shiver SC as a fork so it's not a 5" fork, but high 4" travel.

Just curious too is what is the "long" and "regular" geometry. I'm 5'11 and ride a Medium in everything I have. I'd go with a 50mm stem for a DS/4x machine.

Just curious. From frame weights I wouldn't save much over an alum. bike. 6.1lbs isn't bad for a burley hardtail frame. It doesn't hurt to ask :)
