Oh god no.
I just hope it has engineering decisions that carry over to the real bikes.

29er HAS BEEN CANCELED.
oh god no. 29ers were never cool
Yes thats right. That is why you are riding one....................
two, actually, and one is a half-fat hardtail.
not cool, but crazy fun to ride. Then again, I'm not a 14yr old on pinkbike, so I can ride what I want to and not feel bad about it.
anyone got some time on the following???
That's one of the good things about getting old!
1. Its fast as hell
2. Very NIMBLE
3. It pedals decent
4. Has great traction
only 2 rides on one... but totally agree.
I have one. I really like it. Geometry is great. Suspension is well thought out. Build quality is awesome. I still have a few lingering questions, but I'm hashing those out.
Hows the seat tube angle? That is what worries me
27.5 wheelz on a following, with a 160 27.5 fork with a rake of 44 vs. the evils 51 at a 140? Rideable, unrideable, antigravity?
should get pretty simliar trail numbers give or take a few mm, with some rought maths.
Never really noticed it. I am 6' 1" no shoes. I think a taller guy may because I am already at the height limit on a Dropper post on the frame. Having one a few inches higher may set you further off the back of the BB area....
I am stoked that i switched to a 9point8 seatpost from a thomson, as the 9.8 gives about +1cm more forward than the thomson.
Anything less than full slammed forward gives me knee pain with the 9point8 post.
Just one guys feedback with a wrecked back and bad knees.
SA sucks. I run a post backwards to get +15mm offset. I will probably buy a Thomson and run it backwards for +5mm offset.
I am running my seat closer to the front than normal so....
... and so it begins http://forums.mtbr.com/evil-bikes/cracked-following-990764.html
It's a shit show over there at mtbr.com
guys my audi suffered an engine problem, do you think they'll warranty it?
That first pic of the black one does not look like an impact.
i got a similar crack (in the middle of the seat stay) when a stick got stuck in my rear wheel and locked it up, just fwiw.
I live in a rock based world. I guess wood could do that without marring the surface.
That's three people now with cracks in the same place...........
it's the wood that makes it good
all built up.
nice! Did you go with 51 or 46mm offset on the fork?
Hey all, here's a lightweight carbon trail bike - go do some DH run with it and tell me what happens.
so far, i like it, i have just a shade over 30% sag right now. i am playing around with the settings. i like that stick to the ground ride right now.
According to the OP dude, Evil said "crashed, no warranty replacement, go away". Also, spongy feeling when squeezing seatstay between thumb and fingers? WTF?
clearly it got left in the sun too long
It's kinda like being a Morpheus test rider, except nobody writes you a check when you break it.
