well...

I´m just about to buy a Banshee Scream frame, and would like your help with the following question: would I be able to fit an Evil Guide and Saint Cranks on a Banshee Scream? Could you please post pictures of this setup?

Thanks

First off, we haven't sold an 'evil' branded guide in years. It's all e13 now! ;-)

Secondly, our guides work just fine with Saint stuff. The '04's needed just a little modification to work with Saint stuff, and for '05, we've made all the mods necessary so that the whole thing bolts right up without problems.

I don't think there would be any problems with the whole setup, but we've never specifically fit up a set of Saints on a Scream. Just about every other crank set on the market works fine though. The only thing that *might* be a problem is if the Scream frame requires a long BB length. Saint is pretty much stuck at 113 for '04.

Thanks for replying JP. I was also on the fence on a new set of Saint cranks for next season and your info made my decison an easy one.

One question is if you have seen the 05 XT and LX line? Since they are all Saint style now I wanted to see if you felt an SRS setup will be compatible for those cranksets as well. I am on the shorter and lighter side of the spectrum and from what I have seen the LX version should be fine for me.

Thx

Our system should work fine with the LX and XT stuff. It's impossible for us to check every possible combination, but from everything I've seen, you should be all set with that.

Well if you guys would take some time out of your days spent rolling around in the piles of wealth you've accumulated, you might actually get something done!

Sheesh. Buncha slackers, I tells ya.

hmm..the Banshee Scream is supposed to run a 118 mm BB. Do you think that using 170mm crankarms would remedy this?

As far as I know, the Saint cranks will not work on the Scream. The 05 has been changed to provide more clearance though.

another question: would fit a saint r.d. and rearhub into a scream? i mean, the earlier screams used horizontal dropouts.
could my friend use it, or is there any problem with this combo?
