They are both good guides, the e13/Evil is more durable in the bashguard department, if you do use an MRP get a e13/Evil supercharger. I have a SRS on my DS bike and an MRP on my DH bike with the supercharger, both work flawless.

I'm sure both guides would hold the chain on well enough, but I have had VERY good experiences with e13's customer service. They actually respond to emails unlike most companies (i have no experience with MRP) I will never buy anything but e-13 chainguides because of the excellent service they provide.

E13 SRS.

I used MRPs for years and always had at least one race each year that got messed up due to the aluminum bashring getting bent and causing the chain to climb off the ring and jam up.

As other have said, E13 customer service is also top notch. They are on this board all day answering questions. They also are at a ton of races and can help with setup issues.

Guides are guides but I just saw this new guide the gamut g95. Looks sweet and light. check it out www.gamutusa.com. I like seing new companies cause it means that MTb isn't dying.

Definitely reccomend the SRS. I just finished my third season without any problems rocking SRS's for DH, DS, street, DJ etc.

I own both, and haven't had an issue with either. Get what ever is cheaper. If MRP would stop making the damn rollers orange, I swear they'd sell a lot more guides.

Also, just for kicks, MRP is now owned by eko sport/white brothers, and they have absolutely top notch service. Great people, great products.

I have an e13 SRS on my DJ bike and a e13 DRS on my freeride rig. Both work flawlessly and quiet. The bashguard is superior for rolling over logs and rocks. The wider plastice surface slides right over the obstacle rather than grinding and sticking.

E.13 fa sho. They have great CS and listen to the riders. The guides work wonderfully, and are smooth, quite and strong. Simple set-up, too! Ever seen an MRP vs. E13 bashguard? It's like comparing thin to thick crust...

Thats why you need to do the supercharger with the MRP, and yes Evil/e13 has probably the best customer service in the bike industry hands down:thumb:

my e13 on my hardtail, it works great, I use that for some dh and mostly dj, I just got a MRP bones System 2 on my dh bike, and that works soooooo nice, its bashguard is beefy and it's all black and it guides as well as a regular MRPizzle
