Mihail - Kevin recently set up EVIL-Europe in Spain. When will begin replacement of frames on a warranty in the Europe?!!?!?!?!?!?!?
A buddy of mine got his Undead the other day. I have to say, it looks pretty awesome in person and dare I say it feels a lot sturdier than his Revolt?
Its pretty awesome how the carbon is totally naked too. They really aren't hiding anything. You can even see tiny imperfections, which I don't know if it matters??
I'm pretty excited to help him build this thing. I'll report back on any buckage.
I feel bad for ya, but a blown knee does not necessarily mean a year off the bike... Without knowing the extent of your injury, I can relate my experience with my blown acl and meniscus tear: I was back on the bike with a few weeks after the initial injury. I waited 7 years to get the surgery caus' I originally thought I wouldn't need it. But aftere surgery, it took me more or less 3 months before I was seriously biking again..I have a Large for sale. 2600 w kashima rc4. Blew my knee apart and need surgery and lots of pt. anyone's looking for a good deal on one hit me up. Don't want to sell but I won't be on a dh bike for at least a year.
Don't feel bad for me ill be on an uprising when I can ride again.
jebus. get better soon dude.Well the extent of mine is completely torn MCL, ACL and LCL, dislocated knee, fractured tibia and a hematoma that turned into a massive subdermal infection that sent me to the ER.
Just a touch of Nair, and you'd have some killer stems!thanks, I've got a long road ahead. I go into the ortho tomorrow where they'll hopefully drain my knee, this growth; we'll call it Steve from here out. Steve is putting pressure on the nerves in my knee causing it and part of my shim to go numb, it's constricting movement and generally sore. Been on painkillers and antibiotics to deal with Steve. Steve is currently about the size of a golf ball on the side of my knee and real jelly. It's gonna be Tosh.0 material when they drain it, which hopefully is tomorrow.
The rest of my knee feels surprisingly good, it's stable enough to walk around my house on without the brace and without pain. However I can push my knee in and get my MCL to unhinge (As it were) https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151102312033019&set=vb.511498018&type=2
This was early last week, my entire right leg was massively swollen.
just taking the days slow and as they come.
+1. Healing vibes coming your wayjebus. get better soon dude.
I also blew my acl and tore my meniscus and like the previous poster waited years to do anything about. After surgery I have had a few issues, mine gets filled with fluid and swells like "steve". I get about 90ccs drained out every 3-6 months.thanks, I've got a long road ahead. I go into the ortho tomorrow where they'll hopefully drain my knee, this growth; we'll call it Steve from here out. Jesus - sorry to hear this Ohio. Keep us posted on the rehab and get well soon. I'll check with some of the locals on my end to see if anyone is in the market for a frame.Well the extent of mine is completely torn MCL, ACL and LCL, dislocated knee, fractured tibia and a hematoma that turned into a massive subdermal infection that sent me to the ER.
I was commenting that I wont be back on a DH bike for probably at least a year. I'll trail ride as soon as I can but between now and then I have PT, docs visits and ER to pay for, all of which are coming out of pocket.
Dunbar CyclesHey Kevin,
Is there a North Shore or Vancouver Dealer of Evil?
Linkfail.
Is it really so hard to navigate a website all by yourself?Linkfail.
So is the Evil buy-direct model now alienating online retailers?
meowIs it really so hard to navigate a website all by yourself?
In all seriousness, if you are considering an Undead and reside in the Vancouver/Western Canada area, you'd be well advised to get it through Dunbar. The shop guys are pretty close with Kevin, plus, the owner rides one, knows the bike inside out, and is always more than happy to take the time discussing setup tips etc.meow
The Dunbar site wasn't showing a working link yesterday on Chrome for anything under the Evil category. Now it works. Miracles of Internetz.
Yeah that suckswhen i picked mine up from fedex I was sooo excited. when i delivered mine to its new home i was so bummed.
