Evolution beer for Utah senators? I thought they didn't drink beer in Utah.

Try a Polygamy Porter sometime. Even as Utah-spec beer, it's tasty.

There's a burgeoning microbrew industry in Utah, and most of the beer and brand names are aimed squarely at the, um, squares.

I've gotten mighty drunk off of wasatch brewery water in Park City many times.

Course that was back when I rowed and weighed 145.

It was rad during the olympics...........all the state sponsored liquor stores stayed open on sundays, plus extended their hours. When the money flows, it's not such an moral question any more I guess.

"Darryl," who doesn't post much here anymore, is a UT local who is getting in on the brewery thing. Keep an eye out for "Virgin River Rim Brewing Company" or somesuch. I thought his motto should be "Be the first to pop one open!"

(Polygamy Porter's motto is "Why have just one?" and the Provo Girl label, featuring a supposedly Mormon St-Pauli-Girl lookalike, reads "If you just said 'oh my gosh,' it's probably not for you!"
