score one for the good guys!

a while back I complained about my neighbor's crackhead son, and his damn barking dog, so some of you may know a little more about this...

but here is the latest......

a few weeks ago, my crackhead neighbor shot out my nephew's (he also is my tenant and lives upstairs from me) car windows as it was parked infront of the house. He called the police, and they investigated, and found 2 pellet guns on the front porch but they denied doing it, and the cops really couldn't do anything about it, but they told us that he would eventually slip up. We told the cops about all the domestic disturbance crap we have had to deal with like the kid in the front yard screaming "FVCK YOU... IM PISSED" repeatedly for almost an hour at 3:50 am! The cops said just report it, every time it happens.

Well my inlaws have some friends in local gov. and they made a few calls, and I didn't know it, but the house was under "watch"....

Here is where the story gets good...

Emma hasn't been feeling well, and I haven't gotten much sleep, so I am super cranky. I picked up Emma on my way home, and when I got home from work yesterday, she had fallen asleep. I carry her in and put her to bed, and laydown myself. I kept hearing a helicopter over my house, but didn't think much of it. (It was opening night for the NFL, and I thought it was a news chopper and they were just watching the traffic on the highways nearby) this chopper was getting pretty close to my house, and I was getting freaked out, so I went to see which news station to call to tell them to get their chopper the FVCK away from my house. (I didn't want Emma waking up) As I go out the back door, in my underwear and a t-shirt, I see a helicopter hovering (no bullsh!t) about 15 feet above my neighbors house, and it wasn't a news chopper it was the PA State Police!

I ran and put a pair of shorts on, and went to look out my front door, and there was a couple of cop cars in the front surrounding the crackheads truck. I go out to see the kid in cuffs and resisting arrest. the cop told him to be careful as he tried to get him into the car, and the kid was giving him some problems, so the cop said "OK I DON'T CARE IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET IN" palmed his forehead and pushed him into the car. On his way in the kid was still trying to fight, and between him fighting and the cop pushing his head ricoched nicely off the roof of the car. Then the kid tried kicking the cop, and the cop lifted his legs and shoved him in the car with his heel!!! and they sped around back of the neighbors house.

I went down and told the cops "what ever you have on him make it stick, cause I want him the FVCK out of my neighborhood!" they said "you know whats going on don't you? " I said "no, but I like seeing him in cuffs!" I told them to ruff him up a bit before taking him in :bonk:  they just grinned!

I walked up to the back to see what was going on, and all of the sudden I was surrounded by 7 or 8 cops! the cops that I had just spoken to yelled up "NO NO He's OK he lives there!" I looked down to my neighbors porch, and the whole family was in cuffs... the cops proceded to ask me to open my shed, so I got the keys and opened the doors real wide so my neighbors couldn't see me! I then asked what the hell was going on, and they told me that the state chopper was flying over on an unrelated call, and saw a bunch of pot plants in the woods in and around my neighbors woods! I was like "NO SH!T" I said I have never seen them, and I am all over those woods on my quad, and walking my dog and hiking with Emma!!! the cops showed me that they would go into a super dense area of "bamboo" (japanese knot weed) and take a few plants out of the center, and then plant their crops there! I was pretty dumbfounded, and the cops ended up getting a search warrent and searching the house for over 3 hours!!!

I feel bad for the Dad, he was always cool to me, and seeing him in cuffs kinds sucked... but if that is what it takes to get his son out of my life I will take it!

what a FVCKING NIGHT!!!!

oh and the Steelers won!

I'd be kicking myself for walking those woods and never knowing. What a shame.
I kinda knew something fishy was going on... I saw a few strange tiny little paths going into some THICK @ss underbrush and they weren't deer paths... But I wasn't about to go in, cause you never know if there are boobytraps etc.

Loud redneck kid next door, police helicopter, lots of cops, pot plants out back... kid & family arrested... loudness gone.
pretty close, but... the kid is a total wigger kid... and I think the pot plants are what they could "get them on" but I think they have been trying to get them on other stuff also... the plants just fell into their lap!... I feel bad for the dad, but the mom is a total psycho drunk, and could use a little drying out!

if having the whole family arrested gets the kid to leave... then I will be cool with the whole thing!

I just wonder what they found in the house with the search warrent!!!

Juuuust kidding! In college back in SW VA, though, it was not an unheard of practice to replace a couple corn plants a few rows in with something a little tastier under the cover of a moonless night. Transplanting an 8" topped clone or two and swapping out a bit of dirt for some pre-mixed with soil polymers and timed-release fertilizer ensured health during droughts and meant that only two additional visits were ever needed- once around Labor Day to supplement fertilizer with a high P ratio bloom solution and once right before Halloween for the ol' snatch-n-bag harvest. Ahhhhh the good old days!

Either way, the overt tool discussed in this thread was just begging to be busted and rightly got what he deserved. If Pookie's dad let him get away with doing that on his property, nice guy or not, he was a fool and will now pay a steep price for indulging his son's illicit habits and non-neighborly ways. :busted:

I think the dad was in on it... and that may be the reason that I was kinda bummed... I am not as judgemental as I used to be, but kids like this FVCKNUT neighbor make me think that people who use drugs are @SSHOLES! I have never and will never used drugs. But I also know there are a lot of people who would rather smoke than have a beer! and the dad was always super cool to me! I never really had proof that he was a stoner and didn't really care, but I watched the stupid mother smoke a bowl while babysitting her 2 Y.O. grand daughter, and have been stuck listening to her drunken/stoned incoherent ramblings many a time!

I guess what I am trying to say is some people are cool whether they use drugs or not, and some people arent cool at all. It disappoints me to think that a guy who I thought was cool and probably a stoner, have his life pretty much all together (not hurting anyone) be brought down by the @ssholes around him!

I think the same thing can be said for Alcohol! I have friends who are mellow and cool when under the influence and others who I wouldn't want to be around if they had mouthwash in their mouth!

If you ever get the chance, listen to the old Robin Williams show recorded years back at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC. His drugs/alcohol schtick was funnier than all hell, e.g., and I paraphrase...

"...and the final purpose of alcohol is to bring out the asshole in ANYBODY. You could be the nicest little old man, have a few shots of Jack Daniels and be like 'You fvckin' fvcker- I'm gonna fvck you up you stinkin' sonofa...then the bartender interrupts 'I think you've had enough for tonight, Father Daniels'!"

I am of the firm opinion that only intrinsically happy, well-adjusted adults should indulge in intoxicants, legal or otherwise. Sadly, some people need every single one of their social inhibitions to be fully operational 24/7 lest they inadvertently exhibit for all what horrors lie beneath the surface of their conscious personality.

Hysterical and VERY well put!

I have grown from a completely intolerant A-hole to a more tolerant A-hole... and pretty much feel like "your gig is your gig!" and what ever you choose to do on your time, is up to you, as long as others are not affected by your actions! unfortunately too many times innocent people are pulled into other's stupidity! and as you said some people just shouldn't have anything in their system that lessen their inhibitions!

I always thought I was a crazy enough Phuckhead without drugs, so I never got into them! I know I have an addictive personality, and would probably go WAY overboard if I had gotten into drugs! I knew my limitations and stayed away. :thumb:

Had I the opportunity to redo my life, I would not touch drugs of any kind- legal, illegal, prescribed- you name it. They are a hell of a lot of fun but complicate your life in ways that you'd never predict or believe until you're already embroiled in a resulting conflict. Basically, if you haven't opened Pandora's Box already, DON'T!!!

After 36 years on the planet, 20 of them smoking reefer and 26 of them drinking alcohol, I realize that my "virginity" is long since past, never to return and that moderation offers me now the best statistical option for a functional existence. It is a threshold, once crossed, that is very hard to backtrack even when addiction is not part of the equation. To quit smoking the ganj EVER again would be like going back to black&white television after you'd finally experienced color. Recognizing your personal limitations and acting in a manner logical and consitent with them, as you are doing, is the mark of a rational, mature individual. Keep up the good work and stay clean!

I doubt that. The transition might be rough, but the color would be much better once the fog cleared.
I have taken as much as 15 months off and suffered no rough transition, but that didn't help to make getting stoned suddenly un-fun! Rather than draw a line in the sand and say 'I quit forever!', I have chosen a more moderate approach and simply never do it or have it around my home or my family. My wife has never touched the stuff and I see no reason she should, even if she were hi-curious. Hell, supporting two herb habits could get expensive!

Until it stops being fun, I'll likely continue to toke now and again "with a little help from my friends".
