How polite of you! That's funnier everytime I watch it!
you were pinned! those jumps required alot of braking before
you hit em, oh yeah this was your first practice run wasn't it!
I'm not bagging on you. I don't remember one pro at that
race who hit those jumps first run down, alot of top pros
were walking funny before that race, must have been
pucker factor. That is one of the best 4x courses built!
Peace.

That was snowshoe mtx course for norba nationals in 2004
-05 was similar but tamed down a good bit. This is one of
about 2 courses on the norba circuit that was any where
close to what mountain cross should be and was meant to
be when it started. Most courses have been tamer than your
local bmx track. Yeah the one six year olds can ride on a mini.
Wisconsin 4x course in 2002 was my favorite course,
SuperCross Pro only race. I rank 2002 Sea Otter course 2nd
and the Snowshoe course shown here 3rd. The Mt. Snow
course in 2004 was decent and every other course was a joke!
sorry to rant! Norba just doesnt get what this sport could be,
with a little investment. All the courses are left up to the promoter
so some guy who builds shelves for the office usually gets the job.
We were lucky to ride this one, looks like snowshoe is only
having slalom this season. Hope they put the effort in! cause
some of the past slalom courses there have lacked flow,
jumps and everything else but poles to dodge.

...Great info - I'm not in the know on most of this stuff so your rant is informative - from what little research/reading I've done pertaining to Norba, lots of riders seem to be unhappy with them...I can understand why.

Anyway, great video clip - upon watching it a few times the dude seems to have been a bit sketchy on the everything preceeding the crash as well ...but I give him a 10 on the dismount...

"danw." Luv your choice of "words." But,to me.it's starting to read like a "Dis"{know that word??}to metaldude for shaing his "Ranting" info_Oh..and, lets not forget my "Sketchiness." You know i had to be out there in order to be "Sketchy" Right? let's take the 05' santa cruz "Full Suspension" you trying to push, and get a "Few" Scratches on it. Holla..Holla.

ps. Thanks,for the "10" PDK!

...in no way am I trying to "dis" metal...if anything it's me owning my ignorance about the scene...

and I'm not trying to "dis" you - it simply appeared that you were a little off on that run - (i've sure had my share of being sketchy)...and point well taken, you were out there (not me)...And no chance of puttin' anymore scratches on the VP - it's being sold as I'm leaving the "full suspension" world and continuing to focus on racing cruiser class (no suspension respect)...

So again props to you on the "rigid" setup and going after it - and you now get an "11" for the crash and posted confrontation!
