Hey,

Is there an exploded parts drawing for the 888's like there used to be for the older monsters (see below)? Brain, anybody, does it exist? Can someone post it or direct me to it, Marzocchis site has NO info.

Marzocchi's site sucks for tech info.....

That pic is great, where did it come from? Marzo doesn't have anything specific for 01-02 monsters on their site.

Come on. Some one must have this info. Brian, Marzocchi USA, anybody.....

What im after is some pics of the internals. I want to see how the "plug" in the 888 works, the bit that reduces the chamber volume of the fork thus reducing the oil hieght in the fork. Want to see if it is possible to do something similar to pre 888 forks to reduce oil hieghts and thus wieght.

:help:

Next time you hear a helicopter, run and hide. Otherwise, a big black one is going to descend upon you and a bunch of hot italian women are going to rappel out, cuff you, and put a bag over your head and forcibly stuff you into a waiting black van with a big M on the side, at which point you'll transported to the Jenna Jameson "re-education center" north of LA. There you will forget all about your desire to take apart your Marzocchi, and will submissively take it to a shop or mail it to Marzo tech support instead of being self-reliant.

There are some things we're not meant to know, and for Marzocchi, it apparently includes how to work on their forks. (cue X-files cut theme...)

You know they're super-good when they can drive their van from Australia to LA.

Ahhhh....... ok. So that is why there is no info. Can someone snap me a pic next time they have their fork apart.

Man, thats dodgy. Every other fork manufacturer has info on how to service their forks. Marzocchi blows sometimes :stosh:

Marzocchi publishes all the tech manuals now for shops on one huge CD. I miss the good old days.
OK, so can someone get me a copy of this CD, or just send me the relevant files.

There has to be at least one person on here that has access to this info. Don't make me drive my van to the states and attack you all with my light saber

Im a persistant basterd sometimes, i don't feel like bumping this thread on a weekly basis..............

A friend of mine has one since his 888 came with seals installed upside down. Every cycle of the fork grabbed a glob of oil and pushed it up. He basically had to wipe it down each run. They sent it to him with a new set of seals. He sorta works for a bike related place so he didnt have to really beg for it, i dont think they sell to consumers, although i think maybe i saw it for sale from BTI? Im not sure if you can pull the files off the CD. It installs on your computer as a huge program. Ill ask him to bring it in next week and see or maybe someone will beat me to it....

Call Marz. Get put into Tech support, not sales. Ask them to sell you "the CD" nudge...nudge.. wink..wink..say no more. It's like 10 bucks. They sold me an 04, it's pretty goood.

I don't have anything I can email... We are in the process of updating the website.. But when said process involves 3 companies in 2 countries they don't always go as quick as we want... Soon you will be able to register with our site and get all the same info that is on the CD roms...
