Exporting text messages from cellular phones

Context, for me, is Android.

I wish to be able to get text messages from my phone and copy them to a Windows PC in text or CSV format, with option to include attached images.

There are quite a few applications out there, but all look cheesy and suspicious.

Aside from the usual bullshit, any suggestions?

I've used this app, I believe you have to pay for MMS messages (I bought it a long time ago). It outputs in XML, so you'd have to parse it to put it into CSV format, but this could be done in PowerShell. I don't think you'll find CSV format because CSV is a terrible format for programmatic consumption, and most of these apps are geared towards being able to restore it on another phone.

Just last week I installed the Microsoft 'Your Phone' app on windows and my Android phone which allows you to read, send, and receive txt messages on your Windows PC. I doubt it has the exact export capability you are looking for, but it would be easy enough to copy from the app and paste into whatever document you like.
