Taken this morning about 3/4 the way up a 5km climb. I was struggling badly up the climb until i got to the snake, and my heartrate went through the roof when I saw this bad boy. And for the record, taken at 9.20am, on one of the most popular road loops in Sydney (roughly 15km from the cbd, despite the rural setting).

I ran one over last week riding from phoenix to vegas. 700 20c tires will actually cut it in half if you are going fast enough. pretty clean too.

Which loop were you on Dave, was it Bobbin head road? I've seen a bunch on the Xc trails around lately but none on the roads even out in the sticks...
