ok so the malaysian GP qualifying was held this moring, another exciting first 2 sessions, session 3 i fell asleep half way through so i dont knwo what happened(sleepy not bored) but its appears the mclarens are going heavy, with button and fizzy going light, schumacher would have had a good place for the race but is bumped back 10 places for a n engine swap on friday, rosberg put in a nice time, but i reckon he will make a few rookie mistakes and screw up his race.
i'm really expecting kimi to got deep and fast, if it works out well he can win if not podium at least, considering his car holds out that is:mumble: .
i'm expecting alonso to do something similar possible longer first stint.
so yeah looks like it'll be a good race.
but it starts at 6am again:looney:
i could wait till later in the day for the re run but meh i'd rather watch live, hope i dont fall asleep this time.

i've found times for all sessions this time.

Should be an interesting race. I believe the set a record with 10 grid spot penalities due to engine replacements. Another interesting note was that Ross Brawn said that during their winter testing on their car with the detuned v-10 (they tested both a v-10 and v-8) was all done on the same engine because it was extremely reliable once the rev's were backed down - he said something like 99% of the engine wear on the v-10 is in the last 500 rpm. If the FIA was really looking to cut costs, why didn't they just rev-limit the v-10's instead of creating an entirely new engine formula that is proving to be unreliable.

Anyway, I wonder if Nico can keep up the pace in his 2nd race and I also wonder how heavy Alonso's car is due to his qualifying position.

It will be intersting to see what Nico can do tonight..........

I think both Button and Fisichy will choke and lose their P1 and P2 slots.......they'll finish in the top 5. I predict at least on McLaren on the podium.

Well obviously I was wrong on a couple of counts there..........

Intersting race, lots of engines blowing..........I was very disappointed to see Kimi get punted at turn 1.

After the start, it seemed like Montoya just put in on cruise - it looked like both Ferrari's were catching up at the end. I wonder if he was having any engine issues and decided to just settle for 4th and get some needed championship points.

Since Kimi was out, I'm sure it was a case of just finish and get some decent points............and don't be a hero.
