This past Sunday I organized an informal race at our single slalom track (dubbed 'Hell Track') as a fun way to get a bunch of people together for some non-competitive racing and raise a little extra cash for the NU Cycling Team. Custom number plates, walkie talking timing, free lunch and Gatorade for riders, Red Bull girls with the Red Bull Mini Cooper, and prizes for 1st through 5th...whats not to love!! 
We had a great mix of people including industry folk such as Tobler from e.13, George Costa from Rennen, and Marty Walsch from Geekhouse bikes, along with some awesome collegiate/alumni racers from the area. Jamie Ford took home the 1st place FAHTIBO medal along with a sick Ogio backpack, with Joey Appleton finishing a close 2nd in the brackets. George Costa and his crazy fast bmx skills won him the top qualifying time of the day!
