His explanation was that he was joking. I heard the interview, he was clearly not joking.

The moment the team was out of the playoff race, they should've fired him.

Agreed 100%. But Shouldn't Vic be riding into the sunset w/ him....I mean hanging the fans a bird because he sucked...jeez, talk about issues...

just technically -- cuz i'm neither a Falcons hater or supporter -- the fans were giving him hard time after a tough loss. I'm not saying he was right, just saying that he didn't do it unprovoked. Hell, I'm 38 yo and I still sometimes flip people off when I'm annoyed. Just sayin'.

That said, i wouldn't want him on my team cuz I think he's just a decent QB>
