Hello all,
Just wondering if I could get someones take on this. In my possession at present, I have a 2000 Rock Shox SID XC Hydra Air. A few years ago, it developed a 'click' on the rebound stroke and I took it in for repair...they gave it back to be the following day in pieces saying that a few key components were buggered and that it couldnt be repaired as Rock Shox no longer support forks of this age. I didnt think much of it as I really didnt understand what was going on...thus, bagged em up and left them in the shed for a while...But now, Im after a new fork for my commuter frame and I feel I could give these buggers second chance.

Now, I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the internals of this fork, whether it COULD however be repaired...Ive taken pics of the key areas that look damaged as well as all the components...its a long shot but I guess it could work...

Thanks all!
